This book attempts to examine the impact of seasonal migration in India, with special focus on the two tribal dominated districts of Jhabua and Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh. With the semi-arid climatic zone, these districts have the huge share of tribal population, which are secluded and backward in terms of various socio-economic development indicators and used to migrate seasonally migrate from the decades in search of livelihood in better onearby regions.
